Introducing SLUB!
Ok, by now you might be sensing a theme... New yarn bases! Another new addition to the Botanical Yarn line up is Slub Superwash 4ply. With 400m per 100g and 90% superwash merino and 10% nylon. What is a slub?! Well, a slub is defined as an uneven or thick section of yarn occurring regularly or irregularly. Initially, yarn of this nature was seen as having a defect. But as often happens, tastes change and we love the uneven texture of this yarn. Where the boucle yarn the entire texture of the garment becomes fuzzy and stitch definition is blurred with slub yarn you will get an overall look of the same knitted texture you are used to but some irregularity.
