Meet the Simon shawl! He’s constructed in a similar way to Maurice and Cecil – both named after men in my family – so this third one is named after my oldest brother. He’s a large crescent shawl in a fun garter texture, which seems appropriate as my brother is a lot of fun. He always makes me laugh and smile whenever I speak to him.
The design is knit tip to tip avoiding rows with lots of stitches. Two contrast colours are used to create a dogtooth effect with garter stripes and slip stitches. I have a feeling you’ll want to knit more than one!
