With their unique binder system Thread & Maple invite you to create your own bespoke needle organiser, perfectly tailored to fit your personal needle collection. Designed for knitters, by knitters, the needle binder offers an elegant solution to all your needle storage needs.

Thread & Maple created these interchangeable pages specifically for Chiaogoo™ needle sets. Although most Chiaogoo™ sets come with their own cases, they don't offer an integrated needle storage solution. These cases are both versatile and portable, folding in half with rotating snaps to a more compact size than the standard Chiaogoo™ case. They also lay flat with the closure snaps neatly tucked, to be inserted as a page into the Needle Binder, to keep your Chiaogoos™ together with the rest of your needle collection. Another neat feature is they can also be folded backwards and made to stand.

Each case has an ample pocket to store your cords, stoppers, connectors and keys. They feature Velcro tab needle bands designed specifically for your Chiaogoo™ interchangeable set. Each slot is specifically crafted to snugly fit an interchangeable needles pair and is labelled with both US and metric sizes, so you can quickly find the right needles for your project. The Velcro tabs can be swapped and replaced as your collection evolves, so the same case will last a lifetime.

Meticulously handcrafted from soft genuine leather, beauty and function are effortlessly intertwined in this heirloom piece. The leather used has been hand picked specifically for its sought-after aging qualities, like the characteristic caramelization of the colour, a unique patina giving it a sense of history and character.

Mini binder page information:

This interchangeable case is designed specifically for Chiaogoo needle sets. It’s compatible exclusively with our Mini Binder and is not designed for use with the full-format Needle or Crochet Binders.

While intended to sit inside the Mini Binder, it also functions beautifully as a standalone case. When used on its own, hidden magnets in the flap attract to the metal rings on the page itself, helping protect your needle tips. (Note that when the page is inside your Mini Binder, the protective flap lays naturally, without the magnets being engaged).

Inside, you’ll find an ample zippered pocket for cords, stoppers, connectors, and keys—or even an extra Velcro tab for more needles. A single Velcro tab with elastic loops holds your interchangeable needle tips snugly in place. It’s labeled with both US and metric sizes, and can be easily replaced as your collection evolves. All velcro tabs are interchangeable with our full-format Needle and Crochet Binder Pages, so you can easily shift your most-used tools to the Mini Binder when crafting on the go.
