The ceramic handle is handmade on Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture, using the same traditional techniques employed in the making of local roof tiles. The surface features a smooth, glossy glaze over rustic, textured clay, combining elegance with a tactile finish.

Its square-shaped design prevents it from rolling off your work surface, and it feels balanced and light in the hand.

This limited-edition version features a delicate Sakura pink glaze and comes with a decorative pink and green tassel. The blade is sharp and made in Japan (please note: it is not replaceable), and the genuine leather cover is embossed with the Cohana logo.
