Sophie has dyed a core collection for this yarn, which is now available to buy on our website!!

So that you are ready to get making as soon as your yarn arrives - here are some ideas of projects you can make with this new base.

I personally think stockinette stitch will be a fantastic option to show off this fluffy unique yarn. How about this beautiful and classic and FREE pattern from Espace Tricot called The Classic. The timeless design of this sweater would allow the delicate loops of the boucle to take centre stage.

If you'd like something a bit smaller, the Utu Hat by Sari Nordlund design has a chunky cable design that will pop with the boucle yarn. One skein should be plenty to knit one hat, the ideal quick project.

Maybe shawls are your favourite go to knitting project; this great 3 colour Odyssey Shawl by Joji Locatelli would be a great option. With large garter stitch sections the boucle yarn will knit up a super squishy and cosy shawl. Bonus, it is also free!

This bomber jacket style cardigan was designed with boucle yarn in mind. The Bomber Boucle by Tricot Design MCL goes up to a size 5XL.

If you prefer crochet, check out these designs that I think would work great with our new boucle base!
The Camellia Cowl by Michelle Ferguson would be so cosy with the boucle yarn and the overall simplicity of the design would be great to showcase the textured yarn.

Bucket hats are back on trend in 2022! Make your own and make it fuzzy with our boucle yarn base. This Frankie Bucket Hat by Toni Lipsey will be cosy and trendy.

This is quite a commitment, but imagine yourself wrapped in a cosy boucle oversized cardigan. I'm imagining this like a super soft and squishy house coat. Crochet your dream cardigan with the boucle yarn, I love the Craving Cranberry Cardi by Kate Browne
